KFOR organizes interfaith meeting to strengthen trust between communities
The Regional Command West (RC-W), part of NATO's KFOR mission in Kosovo, organized an interfaith meeting titled 'Through the Choice of Dialogue, We Can Build the Future,' held at the Villaggio Italia Camp in Peja. The event was led by Colonel Federico Mora, commander of RC-W, and brought together representatives from Muslim, Orthodox Christian, Catholic, Jewish, and other communities within the area of responsibility of this command. According to KFOR, the activity served as an open and inclusive platform for dialogue, promoting mutual understanding and strengthening trust among participants.
Komanda Rajonale Perëndim (RC-W), në kuadër të misionit të NATO-s në Kosovë, KFOR, ka organizuar një takim ndërfetar me temën “Përmes zgjedhjes së dialogut, ne mund ta ndërtojmë të ardhmen”, i cili u mbajt në Kampin Villaggio Italia në Pejë.
Takimi u drejtua nga komandanti i RC-W, kolonel Federico Mora, dhe mblodhi përfaqësues të komuniteteve fetare myslimane, ortodokse, katolike, hebraike dhe tarikateve nga zona e përgjegjësisë së kësaj komande.
Sipas KFOR-it, aktiviteti shërbeu si një platformë e hapur dhe e paanshme për dialog, duke nxitur mirëkuptimin e ndërsjellë dhe forcimin e besimit mes pjesëmarrësve.
“Diskutimet u pasuruan nga reflektime të të rinjve mbi paqen, respektin reciprok dhe bashkëjetesën, ndërsa nxënësit e Shkollës së Artit në Pejë prezantuan punime artistike që përcollën mesazhe për dialog dhe harmoni ndërmjet komuniteteve”, thuhet në njoiftim.
KFOR vlerësoi se aktivitete të tilla janë pjesë e përkushtimit të vazhdueshëm për të bashkëpunuar me të gjitha komunitetet në Kosovë, duke promovuar besimin, mirëkuptimin dhe një mjedis të sigurt për të gjithë qytetarët.
