No fewer than three passengers were feared dead on Monday evening after the Warri-Itakpe train reportedly derailed in Agbor, Delta State.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) confirmed the incident in a statement signed by its Managing Director, Mr. Kayode Opeifa.

The corporation said it had immediately activated rescue and emergency response operations, assuring that all passengers on board had been accounted for.
