U teškoj pomorskoj nesreći, koja se dogodila u nedelju oko 11:38 u akvatoriju Splitskih vrata, između ostrva Šolte i Brača, poginule su tri osobe, dok se za jednom još uvek traga .
U sudaru putničkog katamarana hrvatske kompanije i jedrilice pod francuskom zastavom, koja je potom potonula, stradali su češki državljani, saopštilo je Ministarstvo mora, saobraćaja i infrastrukture.
Katamaran Krilo Eclipse, koji je učestvovao u nesreći, sinoć je stigao u Split, piše Dalmacija Danas . Plovilo je prethodno otplovilo u Milnu, a sada je uključeno u daljnje postupanje nadležnih službi.
U trenutku sudara na katamaranu se nalazilo 118 putnika i sedam članova posade, dok je na jedrilici bilo osam osoba, svi češki državljani.
Četiri osobe s potopljene jedrilice spasene su iz mora i s povredama prevezene na Objedinjeni hitni bolnički prijam KBC-a Split. Prema prvim informacijama, svi su van životne opasnosti.
Opsežna akcija spasavanja i istraga
Lučka kapetanija Split dojavu o sudaru dobila je juče u 11:34, nakon čega je odmah pokrenuta opsežna i koordinisana akcija traganja i spasavanja kojom iz Rijeke upravlja Nacionalna središnjica za usklađivanje traganja i spašavanja na moru (MRCC). U akciji učestvuju sve raspoložive spasilačke brodice splitske Lučke kapetanije, plovila Pomorske i aerodromske policije, Hitna medicinska služba s helikopterskom jedinicom i druge nadležne službe.
Istraga o uzrocima nesreće je u toku, a uviđaj na mestu događaja vodi zamenica županijskog državnog tužilaštva uz pomoć veštaka i policije. Agencija za istraživanje nesreća u vazdušnom, pomorskom i železničkom saobraćaju potvrdila je dobijanje informacije o nesreći 14. juna i otvaranje bezbednosne istrage. O svemu su obaveštena i istražna tela Francuske i Češke.
Kapetan Lučke kapetanije u Splitu Željko Kuštera rekao je kako se pretpostavlja da je nestala osoba ostala zarobljena u potonuloj jedrilici te da će olupinu pregledati dron Obalne straže Hrvatske ratne mornarice.

Kapetan Kuštera potvrdio je da je jedrilica imala uredne papire i da je u trenutku sudara plovila na motorni pogon.
"Ova je jahta imala uredne papire, na brodu je bilo 7 putnika i skiper. Na brodu je bilo 118 putnika i 7 članova posade", rekao je Kuštera. Vidno potresen, dodao je: "Ovo je jedna velika tragedija, nema tu nikakve fige u džepu. Ovako nešto još nisam doživeo u više od trideset godina karijere".
Sudski veštak za pomorstvo Damir Višić upozorio je kako je prerano donositi zaključke.
"Brod kraći od 20 metara mora izbegavati veće brodove na plovnim putevima i uskim kanalima. Zašto se to dogodilo, premalo je informacija došlo do nas. Možda je bio neki tehnički kvar", rekao je Višić za HRT.
Načelnik Nacionalnog centra sigurnosti plovidbe Damian Dundović također je naglasio da će se tačne okolnosti utvrditi zvaničnom istragom.
"Tada ćemo videti i znaćemo više detalja o tome što se tačno dogodilo", izjavio je Dundović.
Katamaran Krilo Eclipse, koji je plovio na redovnoj liniji prema Braču, jedan je od najvećih i najbržih u floti firme Krilo. Dug je 56 metara, može primiti do 440 putnika i postiže brzinu do 42 čvora.
Zbog nesreće, Agencija za obalni linijski pomorski saobraćaj obavestila je o prekidu državne brzobrodske linije 9602 Split - Milna - Hvar - Vis. Ponovna uspostava linije očekuje se danas, u ponedeljak, 15. juna, s polaskom iz Splita u 16 sati. Kako bi se putnicima omogućio prevoz, izmenjen je red plovidbe trajekta Petar Hektorović, koji će iz Visa za Split isploviti sat vremena kasnije, u 19 sati, a karte za katamaran važiće i za trajekt.
