Александър Везенков и неговият Олимпиакос (Пирея) станаха шампиони и на Гърция, след като в петия мач от финалната серия за титлата се наложиха над Панатинайкос (Атина) с 89:85. Така треньорът Йоргос Барцокас добави във витрината и титлата от местното първенство, след като преди няколко седмици триумфираха и в Евролигата.
Това е втора поредна титла за Олимпиакос в Гърция, както и 16-а общо в историята.
Българската звезда на „червено-белите“ Везенков завърши мача с 19 точки, две борби и две асистенции за 34:14 минути игра. Най-резултатен в техния състав беше Еван Фурние, който приключи мача с 22 точки, а Никола Милутинов остана с 14. За Панатинайкос 21 вкара Василеос Толиопулос, а северномакедонецът Ти Джей Шортс остана с 14 и 6 асистенции.
