VOZAČ Audija koji je uhićen nakon teške prometne nesreće kod Vjesnika, u kojoj je poginuo 33-godišnji vozač motornog tricikla, a 21-godišnja putnica teško ozlijeđena, pušten je da se brani sa slobode.
Općinsko kazneno državno odvjetništvo u Zagrebu ispitalo je 26-godišnjeg hrvatskog državljanina zbog sumnje na izazivanje prometne nesreće u cestovnom prometu. Nakon ispitivanja doneseno je rješenje o provođenju istrage, a okrivljeniku su određene mjere opreza.

DORH navodi da postoji osnovana sumnja da je 26-godišnjak 13. lipnja oko 20:12 u Zagrebu, upravljajući osobnim automobilom na raskrižju Savske ceste i Slavonske avenije, pri skretanju ulijevo postupio protivno odredbama Zakona o sigurnosti prometa na cestama.
Prema sumnjama tužiteljstva, nije propustio motorni tricikl koji je dolazio iz suprotnog smjera i zadržavao smjer kretanja, nego je prednjim dijelom automobila naletio na njega.
U nesreći je vozač motornog tricikla zadobio teške i po život opasne ozljede od kojih je preminuo. Putnica na motornom triciklu zadobila je teške tjelesne ozljede.
Nesreća se dogodila na jednom od najprometnijih zagrebačkih raskrižja
Nesreća se dogodila u subotu navečer na raskrižju Zagrebačke avenije, Savske ceste i Slavonske avenije, kod Vjesnika, gdje je u vrijeme prometne bila na snazi posebna prometna regulacija zbog zgrade Vjesnika te su bila zabranjena lijeva skretanja na Savsku.

Policija je ranije objavila da je 26-godišnji vozač upravljao Audijem zagrebačkih registracija i kretao se Zagrebačkom avenijom prema istoku. Dolaskom do raskrižja sa Savskom cestom i Slavonskom avenijom, koje je regulirano semaforima, prošao je pored prometnog znaka zabrane skretanja ulijevo, ušao u raskrižje i naletio na Piaggio zagrebačkih registracija.
Motornim triciklom upravljao je 33-godišnjak, a s njim se kao putnica vozila 21-godišnjakinja. Oni su se kretali Slavonskom avenijom u smjeru zapada i prolazili ravno kroz raskrižje.
Vozač tricikla imao je zeleno svjetlo i prednost prolaska
Prema ranijem policijskom izvješću, za smjer kretanja motornog tricikla na semaforu je bilo upaljeno zeleno svjetlo. Policija je navela da je vozač tricikla imao prednost prolaska u odnosu na vozača automobila.
Nakon nesreće 33-godišnjaku je liječnička pomoć pružena u KBC-u Sestre milosrdnice, gdje je kasnije preminuo. Putnica je prevezena u KBC Zagreb, gdje je utvrđeno da je teško ozlijeđena.
Na mjestu nesreće intervenirale su hitne službe i policija, a zbog očevida je od 20:10 do 21:40 bio obustavljen tramvajski promet Savskom cestom. Nesreća je izazvala velike prometne probleme na jednom od najprometnijih zagrebačkih raskrižja.
Vozač Audija nakon očevida je uhićen zbog sumnje da je počinio kazneno djelo izazivanja prometne nesreće u cestovnom prometu. Nakon ispitivanja u državnom odvjetništvu određene su mu mjere opreza, pa se u nastavku postupka brani sa slobode.
