Gradonačelnik Zagreba Tomislav Tomašević na društvenim je mrežama objavio šaljivu snimku u kojoj objašnjava kako je donesena odluka o produženju radnog vremena ugostiteljskih objekata za vrijeme održavanja utakmica hrvatske nogometne reprezentacije na Svjetskom prvenstvu u nogometu 2026.
U videu gradonačelnik pije pivo iz krigle, a konobarica ga upozorava da ide zadnja runda jer slijedi zatvaranje. Ali onda uskače Tomašević.
– Ali nije sada zadnja runda. Danas igra Hrvatska i kafići rade do dva ujutro – objasnio je. Potom u ruke dobiva službeni dokument koji potpisuje i odmah udara pečat.
Podsjetimo, 27. svibnja Grad Zagreb donio je zaključak kojim se odobrava produženje radnog vremena ugostiteljskim objektima iz skupina „Restorani” i „Barovi” na području Grada Zagreba, i to: 17. lipnja 2026. do 2.00 sata, 24. lipnja 2026. do 3.00 sata te 27. lipnja 2026. do 2.00 sata.
U obrazloženju zaključka stoji kako je Svjetsko nogometno prvenstvo, koje će se održati u Kanadi, Meksiku i SAD-u, najveći sportski događaj u 2026. godini, a zbog vremenske razlike utakmice će se u Republici Hrvatskoj pratiti uglavnom u kasnim večernjim i noćnim satima.
Udruženje ugostitelja Zagreb podnijelo je inicijativu za omogućavanje produženog radnog vremena ugostiteljskim objektima radi organiziranog praćenja nogometnih utakmica.
Nadalje, stoji kako Grad Zagreb, kao prepoznatljiva turistička destinacija kontinentalne Hrvatske, ovim zaključkom nastoji omogućiti kvalitetniju ugostiteljsku i turističku ponudu te organizirano praćenje utakmica hrvatske nogometne reprezentacije tijekom održavanja Svjetskog prvenstva u nogometu 2026.
