A Venezuela assinou um acordo com a gigante americana General Electric para iniciar a recuperação de seu deteriorado sistema de energia elétrica, anunciou nesta segunda-feira 15 a presidenta interina, Delcy Rodríguez .
Rodríguez ocupa a Presidência desde a queda de Nicolás Maduro em uma incursão americana em janeiro. Em abril, manteve diálogos com a multinacional para tratar dos problemas energéticos do país.
O acordo permitirá “recuperar, nos primeiros 24 meses, 1.000 megawatts e, no total, em quatro anos, mais de 5.000 megawatts”, afirmou Rodríguez no Palácio de Miraflores.
