V ZDA se je v nedeljo zgodila huda letalska nesreča, v kateri je življenje izgubilo 11 padalcev in pilot.

Po poročilih državne policije v ameriški zvezni državi Missouri je do strmoglavljenja prišlo kmalu po vzletu letala okoli 11.20 po lokalnem času.

Enomotorno turbopropelersko letalo lokalnega padalskega kluba po prvih informacijah ni uspelo doseči načrtovane višine in je kmalu po vzletu ostro zavilo navzdol ter strmoglavilo na polje nedaleč stran od vzletno-pristajalne steze. Pri tem je letalo zajel ogenj.
