A gyors kivizsgálás megállapította, hogy nem orvhalászok tevékenykedtek, de a védett, igen ritka vizát így is gyorsan ki kellett vágni a hálóból. Érdemes megnézni a rövid videót, mert vizát igen ritkán lehet megpillantani. Főleg ekkora méretben.

Az egykor a budapesti Duna-szakaszon is ívó viza a nálunk ma is honos kecsege nagyobb termetű rokona. Nem csontos-, hanem porcoshal, így nincs csontos gerincoszlopa, helyette zselével töltött hosszú tömlőt hord a hátában.

Itt szabadítják ki a viza fejét.

Pikkelyek helyett csontos vértek fedik a testét, amik élesek, így soha ne öleld meg, ha úszás közben találkoznátok, csak ha páncélingben úszol! A viza ragadozó. Fogai nincsenek, cserébe húsos bajuszszálai igen. Édesvízben szaporodik, kaviár és haltej segítségével, majd visszavándorol a tengerbe. A Vaskapu erőmű akadályozza meg, hogy a vizák felússzanak Magyarországig.
