Guvernul Veștea rămâne și fără cele 31 de voturi ale UDMR. Conducerea partidului a decis să le recomande parlamentarilor săi să nu voteze Guvernul Veștea. Liderul deputaților UDMR, Csoma Botond, a spus că nu crede că vor fi voturi diferite față de acestă recomandare.

„UDMR nu va intra la guvernare”, a spus Csoma Botond, liderul deputaților UDMR și purtătorul de cuvânt al partidului, la finalul ședinței de aproape trei ore a partidului.

El a precizat că decizia privind votarea Guvernului Veștea se ia, conform Statutului UDMR, la nivelul grupurilor parlamentare, dar a fost formulată o recomandare.

„Există această recomandare să nu votăm acest guvern. Dar sigur reiterez decizia finală aparține statutar grupurilor parlamentare”, a spus Csoma Botond.

„Acum am decis în privința participării la guvernare și am decis în Consiliul Permanent al Uniunii Democrate Maghiare din România că UDMR nu va face parte din Guvern. Consiliul Permanent a formulat o recomandare, dar nu Consiliul Permanent ia decizia dacă nu participăm. (…) Grupurile reunite din Camera Deputaților și Senat iau decizia în mod autonom și decizia finală va fi luată de grupurile parlamentare dar există această recomandare din partea Consiliului Permanent către grupurile reunite și recomandarea e să nu votăm acest guvern“, a spus liderul deputaților UDMR.

Botond a afirmat că nu crede că vor fi voturi diferite din partea parlamentarilor UDMR față de această recomandare.

„Noi totuși cred că suntem o organizație politică disciplinată și dacă avem o decizie în partid, atunci toți ar trebui să adopte aceeași poziție“, a mai spus Botond.
