POLJSKA i Njemačka potpisale su međusobni obrambeni sporazum, objavili su danas ministri obrane obiju zemalja, dok Varšava nastoji učvrstiti svoje saveze suočavajući se s rastućom prijetnjom od Rusije. Poljska je već potpisala obrambene ugovore s Francuskom i Velikom Britanijom te radi na sličnom sporazumu s Italijom.

"Obrambeni sporazum otvara nova područja za suradnju, u području kibernetičke sigurnosti, zajedničke odgovornosti, zajedničkog zapovjedništva na Baltiku te novih tehnologija", rekao je poljski ministar Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz tijekom konferencije za novinare s njemačkim ministrom obrane Borisom Pistoriusom.
"Otvara nove mogućnosti u pogledu vojne mobilnosti, kao i razvoja infrastrukture za tu mobilnost između naših država", dodao je. Dokument je potpisan na 35. obljetnicu sklapanja poljsko-njemačkog Ugovora o dobrosusjedskim odnosima i prijateljskoj suradnji.
