Following allegations of improper business practices, Congressman Truth's company was taken over by his father.

The article reports that Boris Mijič, a member of the Resnica party, has stepped down as director of his company Progros, with his father Miladin Mijič taking over the role. Mijič remains the sole owner of the company. The change occurred amid allegations of debt to employees, allegedly forged documents, and unmet obligations. The company reportedly received funds from two major construction firms, including those working for the state, to pay off debts to Fur, while employee wages were supposedly covered by the leader of the Resnica party. The district court in Ljubljana registered the change

The Commission shall be empowered to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 26 to supplement this Regulation by setting out the following:

The blocked Progros company still advertises itself on the Internet with a 'wide range of high-quality construction services, including the affordable adaptation of houses in Central Slovenia'.

More and more information is coming to light about the controversial business practices of MP Boris Mijic, who won 1044 votes in the constituency of Gornji Radgon, where he was a candidate, and who now visits once a month. The leader of the party, Zoran Stevanović, is currently trying to minimize the problem and political damage, while Mijic is portrayed as a hardworking businessman who has done everything to correct alleged business mistakes of others.

In recent weeks, Mijić's company Progros has been in the forefront, and the analysis of Mijić's business should actually start with Progros 1, which has already ended in bankruptcy. This company with the first name Alusistem founded the company Bramar in Maribor in 2014, in April 2016 it became owned by Ukrainian Stanislav Molchinskyy, and in July 2016 Boris Mijič, the current Member of Parliament of Resnica. Mijić re-registered the company as a construction company and renamed it Progros 1, d. o. o., and his father Miladin Mijić formally took over the management. Until Mijić's takeover, the company almost did not operate, but then already in 2016 it had a turnover of €14 million in good revenue, and a year later, in 2017, it had already raised €1.4 million; and in 2017, it also raised €22 million in good revenue, and in the following year it raised €175,000,000. The company's net profit fell to €385,000 in Maribor, and in April 2016 it became owned by Ukrainian Stanislav Molchinskyy, and in July 2016 by Boris Mijić, the current MP of Resnica.

Of the approximately 74,000 companies in Slovenia, the company of Petrola's most influential owner Darij Južne is now being rescued by the company of MP Bojan Mijic.

In one of the reports, the latter also quoted the director, Miladin Mijić, as blaming the workers for the bankruptcy. The former management cited contractual penalties and employee negligence as the reasons for the bankruptcy, PirPirc wrote. However, the documentation reveals that Progros 1 had already had to pay compensation to the workers for the unlawful termination of the employment relationship on the basis of a judgment.

Although Zoran Stevanović, the head of Resnica, claims that Boris Mijić took over another company with a very similar name Progros, d. o. o. in May 2025, and that he actually started to rescue it, this is completely fictitious. It is a family business of the Mijić family, where ownership and the director's function have been passed since its establishment in 2012 between members of the Mijić family, often living at the same address.

Zoran Stevanovic is paying all his debts.

So not only did Mijič know very well what was happening with the company, but he had been actively involved in the management of this construction company all these years, which even now has active online advertising for beneficial adaptations of houses in central Slovenia. Similar to Progros 1, Progros also failed right after the record year. In 2024, Progros' revenues increased by almost EUR 1.4 million the year before they were around EUR 800,000 , it employed about 18 people and ended the year with a profit of around EUR 15,000. Already a few months later, last year, when Mijič took over as director, everything started to move towards the second of May. And on 24 June last year, there was already a blockage of bank accounts, which now lasts almost continuously for days in August, but Progros is on the list of original tax debtors of the FEK and therefore has a debt of EUR 30,000 from the original debtors.

Goran Lukić from the Workers' Advisory Council described the case of a worker who in mid-July, i.e. when Mijić was already the Director of the Workers' Advisory Council, received an SMS message stating that he did not have a regulated compulsory health insurance. It turned out, as Lukić said, that Progros had dismissed him from the ZZZS on 30 June last year because of his lack of work, and the basis for this was a regular termination of employment contracts for business reasons, the signature of which was a bad employee. A more tragic example is the worker who was dismissed from Progros's employment contracts for business reasons, and was thus dismissed from the right to terminate employment contracts on the basis of forgery of documents. The worker was represented by a police officer who had never seen him until the end of that year, and who had never signed a contract of employment contract due to illness.

Stevanović lashed out at Messi: "Only his resignation can ease the matter"

Zoran Stevanović, leader of the Resnica party, called on Minister for Labour Luka Mesec to resign, accusing him of being aware of alleged irregularities in business dealings but failing to act appropriately. Luka Mesec, koordinator Levice, zahteva odstop poslanca stranke Resnica Borisa Mijiča zaradi sumov glede neplačevanja zaposlenih, ponarejanja podpisov, uporabe obvodnih podjetij in fiktivnih transakcij. Mesec ocenjuje, da ta vedenje ni kredibilno za izvoljenega predstavnika ljudstva in poudarja, da neplačevanje predstavlja eksistencialno grožnjo za delavce. I demand the resignation of Deputy Mesc, he knew everything.
