De acordo com dados recolhidos ao final da manhã pelo Sindicato dos Trabalhadores dos Registos e do Notariado, e divulgados numa nota de imprensa ao fim da tarde, "a esmagadora maioria das conservatórias" encontrava-se encerrada nos distritos de Aveiro, Beja, Coimbra, Castelo Branco, Évora, Faro, Guarda, Leiria, Lisboa, Porto, Portalegre, Santarém, Setúbal e Vila Real.
A paralisação, que começou na segunda-feira e termina no sábado, tem por base 11 reivindicações, que incluem "um recrutamento-choque do número de conservadores de registos e de oficiais de registos que se encontram em falta" e o cumprimento da recomendação da Provedoria da Justiça para eliminação de assimetrias salariais.
Para o sindicato, a crise de recursos humanos é grave, com 279 conservadores de registos e 2.731 oficiais de registos em falta - o equivalente a 38% e 55%, respetivamente, do efetivo necessário.
Numa resposta anterior à Lusa, o Ministério da Justiça (MJ) realçou a contratação de 165 novos conservadores e de 605 novos oficiais de registos, em 2024 e 2025, que já iniciaram ou vão iniciar funções ainda este ano.
Sobre os níveis de adesão à greve, o MJ remeteu hoje um balanço para segunda-feira.
No primeiro dia de greve, o MJ registou uma adesão nacional de cerca de 52%, contra os 80% reclamados pelo sindicato.
Segundo o Sindicato dos Trabalhadores dos Registos e do Notariado, as conservatórias e lojas de cidadão que se mantiveram abertas ao longo da semana "funcionaram com limitações relevantes e tempos de espera prolongados".
O sindicato prevê que "estas limitações" continuem no sábado nas lojas de cidadão, "os únicos serviços a funcionarem" neste dia.
Para esta greve foram decretados serviços mínimos para casos urgentes, como casamentos civis e testamentos na iminência de morte ou emissão e entrega de cartão de cidadão e passaporte em situações de prioridade extrema.
