O Irão anunciou esta terça-feira, 16 de junho, que a guerra com os Estados Unidos e Israel terminou na segunda-feira (15), após o acordo com Washington, reiterando que qualquer ataque israelita e a presença das suas tropas em território libanês constituem uma violação do pacto.
"A guerra terminou oficialmente ontem de manhã [referindo-se a segunda-feira] em todas as frentes", disse o ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros iraniano, Abbas Araghchi, citado pela televisão estatal iraniana IRIB.
Abbas Araghchi adiantou que "qualquer ataque israelita contra o Líbano é uma violação dos entendimentos" alcançados.
"Do nosso ponto de vista, as duas partes deste acordo são os Estados Unidos e Israel, por um lado, e o Irão e o Hezbollah, por outro", sublinhou.
"O fim da guerra no Líbano é parte inseparável [do acordo]", afirmou, reiterando que "a guerra não terminará até que Israel se retire dos territórios libaneses que ocupou", segundo a agência de notícias Mehr.
O ministro iraniano confirmou ainda que na sexta-feira "haverá uma nova ronda de negociações" com os Estados Unidos em Genebra, na Suíça, com o objetivo de "chegar a um acordo final".
"Após três meses de negociações, conseguimos concluir a primeira fase [das conversações]", afirmou Araghchi.
O acordo preliminar prolonga por 60 dias o cessar-fogo em vigor desde 8 de abril e estabelece um quadro negocial para futuras negociações sobre o acordo nuclear.
Os compromissos garantem a reabertura do estreito de Ormuz e um levantamento progressivo das sanções sobre Teerão.
Israel ocupa grandes áreas do sul do Líbano, em resposta a ataques do grupo radical pró-iraniano Hezbollah, e continua a bombardear o país vizinho apesar do anúncio do acordo mediado pelo Paquistão.
Desde o início das hostilidades entre Israel e o movimento xiita libanês, como parte da guerra lançada pelos EUA e Israel contra o Irão, cerca de 3800 pessoas foram mortas só no Líbano por ataques israelitas, que também forçaram mais de um milhão de pessoas a fugir das suas casas.
