Captain reveals new details of the tragedy at Brač: I haven't seen such a tragedy in 35 years

Tri osobe su poginule, a za jednom se još traga nakon teške pomorske nesreće koja se danas dogodila u području Splitskih vrata, između Brača i Šolte, kada su se sudarili putnički katamaran i jedrilica.

Prema informacijama koje su saopćili nadležni, na jedrilici se nalazilo sedam putnika i skiper, a svi su državljani Češke Republike. Na katamaranu je u trenutku nesreće bilo 118 putnika i sedam članova posade.

Lučki kapetan iz Splita Željko Kuštera izjavio je da je riječ o tragediji kakvu ne pamti tokom svoje dugogodišnje karijere.

- Ova jedrilica imala je urednu dokumentaciju, a na brodu je bilo sedam putnika i skiper. Na drugom brodu bilo je 118 putnika i sedam članova posade, rekao je Kuštera na konferenciji za medije.

- U 35 godina svoje karijere ovako nešto još nisam vidio. Želim pohvaliti sve službe i učesnike koji su brzo pritekli u pomoć, ali ovo je, nažalost, strašna tragedija, kazao je lučki kapetan.

Nakon nesreće pokrenuta je velika akcija spašavanja. Četiri osobe s jedrilice prevezene su u Klinički bolnički centar Split, gdje su zbrinute i podvrgnute medicinskim pregledima. Ljekari su saopćili da je riječ o češkim državljanima srednje životne dobi te da niko od njih nije životno ugrožen.

U međuvremenu, katamaran koji je učestvovao u nesreći stigao je u Milnu na Braču, gdje će biti obavljeni dodatni pregledi plovila kako bi se utvrdilo njegovo stanje i eventualna oštećenja.
