Ione Belarra, secretaria general de Podemos, ha anunciado este sábado su disposición a encabezar la candidatura del partido a la Comunidad de Madrid en las autonómicas de 2027. "El PSOE no pone más que candidatos de cuarta. Y Mónica García dice cosas que suenan bien, pero unos y otros han renunciado a ganarle a la señora Ayuso. Esta pelea hay que darla con más fuerza. Ayuso es el corazón ideológico de este país", ha argumentado la también diputada en el acto central de la Fiesta de la Primavera de la formación ante unos 350 militantes en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de la capital. “En Madrid se va a dar una batalla central para el conjunto del país y el futuro de nuestros hijos. No me resigno”, ha señalado hacia el final de su discurso.
“Nos merecemos un buen Gobierno. Con toda la humildad y toda la determinación, os propongo encabezar una candidatura para la Comunidad de Madrid”, ha afirmado. El gesto emula al realizado por el entonces líder de Podemos y vicepresidente del Ejecutivo Pablo Iglesias, que en 2021 dio el salto a la política autonómica para salvar al partido de la desaparición. Podemos se quedó sin representación en la Asamblea en 2023.
