Gärvalla: Strong judicial institutions, a guarantee for the state

Donika Gërvalla, acting Minister of Justice, emphasized the importance of strengthening judicial institutions and their independence during a visit to the Basic Court in Mitrovica. She highlighted that an effective justice system depends not only on existing laws but also on the ability to apply them promptly, professionally, and without delays. Zëvendëskryeministrja dhe Ministrja e Drejtësisë në detyrë, Donika Gërvalla, ka theksuar rëndësinë e forcimit të institucioneve të drejtësisë dhe pavarësisë së tyre, gjatë një vizite në Gjykatën Themelore në Mitrovicë.

Ajo është pritur nga ushtruesi i detyrës së kryetarit të Gjykatës Themelore në Mitrovicë, Bekim Veliqi.

Gjatë vizitës, Gërvalla ka deklaruar se një sistem gjyqësor i besueshëm nuk matet vetëm me ligjet në fuqi, por me aftësinë për t’i zbatuar ato në kohë, me profesionalizëm dhe pa vonesa.

Sipas saj, forcimi i kapaciteteve institucionale mbetet një ndër kushtet themelore për garantimin e drejtësisë efektive dhe funksionale.

Ajo ka theksuar gjithashtu se pavarësia institucionale dhe përgjegjësia profesionale nuk janë privilegje të sistemit të drejtësisë, por detyrime ndaj qytetarëve dhe Republikës së Kosovës.

Gërvalla ka shtuar se sa më të forta të jenë institucionet e drejtësisë, aq më i fortë është shteti i së drejtës dhe besimi i qytetarëve në të.

“Drejtësia e fortë është garancia më e sigurt e Republikës, dhe nuk ka shtet të fortë pa institucione të forta të drejtësisë”, ka theksuar ajo.
