Futsal, Kosovo with tough opponents for the 2028 World Cup

Kosova's futsal team has been placed in Group 10 for the European qualifiers for the 2028 World Cup, where they will face Italy and Georgia in the Main Round. The draw was held in Lausanne, Switzerland. Kosovo advanced from the preliminary round, which included teams such as Montenegro, Austria, and Gibraltar. The matches for the Main Round will take place in December 2026 and March 2027. Përfaqësuesja e Kosovës në futsall do të ketë kundërshtarë të vështirë në “Main Round” të kualifikimeve për Botërorin 2028.

Kosova në Grupin 10 do të përballet me Italinë e Gjeorgjinë. Është raundi i parafundit i kualifikimeve evropiane për Kupën e Botës.

Kështu është vendosur pas shortit të tërhequr të premten në Nyon të Zvicrës.

Kosova, e udhëhequr nga përzgjedhësi Agon Ramadani, në raundin preliminar e fitoi grupin ku ishin edhe Mali i Zi, Austria dhe Gjibraltari.

Ndeshjet vajtje-ardhje të “Main Round” zhvillohen në dhjetor 2026 dhe mars 2027.

Fituesit e 12 grupeve dhe katër përfaqësueset më të mira të vendeve të dyta, avancojnë në “Elite Round”.

Në fund të prillit 2028, shtatë përfaqësueset evropiane do të konfirmohen për turneun final.
