The Dragons find out their rivals in the Futsal World Cup qualifiers

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national futsal team has learned their rivals in the qualification rounds for the World Championship. They will face Poland and Northern Ireland in the main round. Dok su se oči fudbalske javnosti bile uprte u duel Španije i Zelenortskih Ostrva na Svjetskom prvenstvu 2026, zanimljiva priča dolazi i van terena. Glavni sudija ovog susreta, Jordanac Adham Makhadmeh, ima posebnu vezu s Bosnom i Hercegovinom koju nikada nije krio.

Makhadmeh je jedan od najcjenjenijih sudija s azijskog kontinenta, a malo je poznato da posjeduje bosanskohercegovački pasoš i da tečno govori bosanski jezik.

Njegova životna priča počinje sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća kada je njegov otac iz Jordana stigao u Sarajevo na studij građevinarstva. Upravo u glavnom gradu Bosne i Hercegovine upoznao je svoju buduću suprugu, Sarajku s kojom je kasnije zasnovao porodicu.

Nakon vjenčanja supružnici su se preselili u Jordan, gdje je rođen Adham. Ipak, veza s Bosnom i Hercegovinom nikada nije prekinuta. Tokom odrastanja često je dolazio u Sarajevo i druge dijelove zemlje, zbog čega je savladao bosanski jezik i izgradio snažan odnos prema zemlji iz koje potiče njegova majka.

Ovaj 38-godišnji arbitar danas sudi na najvećoj svjetskoj sceni, ali svoje porijeklo uvijek ističe s posebnim ponosom. U više navrata naglašavao je koliko mu znači bosanskohercegovačko državljanstvo i činjenica da dio njegove porodice i danas živi i radi u Sarajevu, javlja reprezentacija.ba

Zanimljivo je da Makhadmeh po struci nije profesionalni sportski radnik. Diplomirani je građevinski inženjer, a sudijsku karijeru gradio je paralelno s obrazovanjem i poslom. Zahvaljujući predanom radu, disciplini i kvalitetnim nastupima, stigao je do FIFA značke i prilike da dijeli pravdu na najvećim međunarodnim takmičenjima.

Njegova priča predstavlja spoj dvije domovine, Jordana i Bosne i Hercegovine, te još jedan dokaz da ljudi porijeklom iz naše zemlje ostavljaju trag i na najvećoj svjetskoj sportskoj pozornici. Na Mundijalu je bio zadužen za provođenje pravde na terenu, ali je za brojne navijače iz Bosne i Hercegovine pažnju privukla činjenica da jedan od sudija najvećeg fudbalskog takmičenja na svijetu s ponosom govori njihov jezik i nosi pasoš njihove države.
