BiH nakon dva kola ima samo bod iz utakmice s Kanadom i u zadnjem kolu protiv Katara mora pobijediti ako želi ostati u igri za prolazak skupine.
Njegov prvi dojam bio je zanimljiv: Rezultat izgleda ružno, ali sama utakmica, kaže, nije bila potpuni raspad.
'Iskreno, nisam nešto posebno razočaran. Čak bih rekao da se iz ove utakmice mogu izvući neke pozitivne stvari. Rezultat 4:1 izgleda ružno, ali realno utakmica nije djelovala kao da će tako završiti', rekao je Osim.

Osim smatra da je BiH do završnice utakmice djelovala organiziranije nego protiv Kanade. Švicarska je imala više lopte i inicijativu, ali dugo nije stvarala pritisak koji bi sugerirao da će završiti s četiri gola.
'Do drugog cooling breaka u drugom poluvremenu bili smo, neću reći dobri, ali imali smo puno manje problema nego protiv Kanade. S loptom smo izgledali puno bolje, što nije bilo teško jer protiv Kanade gotovo nismo ni igrali s loptom', rekao je Osim.
Posebno je naglasio da se BiH nekoliko puta uspjela povezati i doći u situacije u kojima je Švicarska morala ozbiljno reagirati.
'Sastavili smo četiri ili pet akcija, došli bliže njihovom golu i Švicarci su nas ozbiljno shvatili. Nisu se otvorili da nam ostave prostor. Bili smo ozbiljni, ali to nije bilo dovoljno za nešto više', dodao je.
Ključni trenutak, po Osimu, dogodio se kada je Švicarska posegnula za klupom.
'Ubacili su trojicu novih igrača i odmah u prvom napadu napravili problem. Očekivalo se da ćeš ti prije pogriješiti jer oni imaju kontrolu, loptu, bolje zamjene i mogućnost da ubrzaju. Tako se i dogodilo', rekao je Osim.
'BiH se branila organizirano, tako mora igrati'
Iako je poraz težak, Osim nije vidio potpunu paniku u igri BiH. Dapače, smatra da je momčad u velikom dijelu utakmice ispoštovala ono što je Barbarez tražio.
'BiH nije izgledala kao Hrvatska protiv Engleske u onih 10 ili 15 minuta potopa. Mi smo se branili organizirano. Branili se jesmo, jer mislim da samo tako i možemo igrati protiv ekipa koje su kvalitetnije od nas. Tako igramo stalno i igrači su ispoštovali ono što je trener zamislio', rekao je Osim.
Dodao je da BiH nema vezni red koji može stalno kontrolirati utakmicu i mijenjati ritam kao što to mogu jače reprezentacije.
'Nemaš tu plemenitog igrača koji može ubrzati, usporiti ili iznenaditi nečim. Vezni igrači mogu biti disciplinirani, mogu trčati, mogu biti dosadni, ali kada netko odigra pas od deset metara naprijed, to je već velika stvar. To je realnost', rekao je Osim.
Zato ga nije iznenadilo što se lopta često vraćala unatrag, iako je Barbarez u jednom trenutku očito bio nezadovoljan takvim rješenjima.
'Nisu igrači bili prestrašeni. Jednostavno nemaš tu kvalitetu da stalno guraš loptu prema naprijed. Danas su barem djelovali manje smušeno i manje panično nego protiv Kanade', dodao je.
'Nije realan rezultat, ali kad se umoriš, dogodi se raspad'
Osim smatra da je 4:1 previsok rezultat u odnosu na tijek utakmice, ali razumije zašto je završnica otišla u tom smjeru.
'Nije realan rezultat. Umoriš se kao pas, dogode ti se dvije stvari u tri minute i gotovo. Kad gubiš 1:0 i imaš igrača manje, moraš se malo otvoriti, a onda te ljudi kazne ako znaju. A Švicarska ipak zna nešto', rekao je Osim.
Posebno se osvrnuo na prvi gol, koji je pao nakon pogreške u obrani BiH. Smatra da je sve krenulo od loše odluke, ali i da završnica nije bila nimalo jednostavna.
'Memić je vratio loptu glavom na najgore moguće mjesto. To ne smiješ napraviti. Ali treba reći i da gol nije bio lagan. Zabio je čovjek iz poluokreta, gotovo poluškaricama. Nije lako pogoditi odande', rekao je Osim.
Džeko od prve minute? Osim nema dilemu
Jedna od tema bila je i usporedba Edina Džeke s Lukom Modrićem, o kojem je Osim dan ranije govorio u kontekstu hrvatskog poraza od Engleske. Džeko je večeras bio nemoćan, baš kao i Modrić protiv Engleske, što je Osim potencirao za tportal. Na pitanje može li se povući paralela između njih dvojice, odnosno, je li trebao veliki Edin igrati od početka, Osim je odmah naglasio da je situacija drukčija jer BiH i Hrvatska ne igraju na isti način.
'Drugačije je. Hrvatska želi igrati i u toj igri Modrić mora biti jako uključen. BiH ne igra tako. Nama igra ne ovisi o Džeki. Mi ne gradimo igru preko njega', rekao je Osim.
