US President boosts Intel stock, confirms orders from Apple

US President Donald Trump announced on his social media platform Truth Social that Apple has agreed to collaborate with Intel to develop and manufacture Apple chips in the United States. This statement caused a significant rise in Intel's stock price before market opening. While speculation about Apple potentially using Intel for chip production had existed previously, this was the first confirmation. US-Präsident Donald Trump hat auf seiner Social-Media-Plattform Truth Social verkündet, dass „Apple in die Zusammenarbeit mit Intel eingewilligt hat, um (Apple-)Chips in den USA zu entwickeln und zu fertigen“. Dadurch schoss der Kurs der Intel-Aktie im vorbörslichen Handel deutlich hoch.

Zwar wurde schon länger darüber spekuliert, dass Apple Chips bei Intel fertigen lassen könnte, doch gab es bisher keine Bestätigung.

Außerdem erwähnte Trump die bereits bekannte Kooperation zwischen Intel und Firmen von Elon Musk beim Bau der sogenannten Terafab, also sehr großen Chipfabriken .

In gewohnt großspurigem Tonfall lobt sich US-Präsident Donald Trump selbst für die im August 2025 vereinbarte Beteiligung der US-Regierung an Intel . Der Wert dieser Beteiligung habe sich seither versechsfacht.

Außerdem beschimpft Trump seine Vorgänger im Amt, weil die es zugelassen hätten, dass „Taiwan und andere unsere Halbleiterwerke stehlen“. Seine Regierung hingegen schütze die US-Industrie mit Zöllen.
