A ceramic altar perpetuates 300 years of devotion to Jesus of Nazareth in Ciudad Real

A ceramic altarpiece has been unveiled in Ciudad Real to commemorate 300 years of devotion to Jesus Nazareno. The piece was created by Seville-based ceramicist Sandra Colinet Morales and depicts Jesus on his way to Calvary. It now stands at the entrance of the Convent of the Sisters of the Cross.

La Hermandad de Jesús Nazareno puso este sábado el broche de oro a los actos de celebración de su III Centenario Fundacional con la inauguración y bendición de un gran ... retablo cerámico que, desde ahora, presidirá la fachada del convento de las Hermanas de la Cruz como testimonio permanente de tres siglos de historia, fe y tradición cofrade.
