A foreign attacker tried to cut off the local head

A man was attacked on the Kinnaird Avenue in northern Belfast around 10:30 PM. The attacker slashed and stabbed the victim, repeatedly striking him on the head and neck as if trying to decapitate him. Blood was splattered everywhere. Brave bystanders pulled the suspect away from the victim. The suspect appears to be a foreigner, as he shouted in a foreign language during the attack. The suspect is now in custody, while the victim was taken to the hospital with severe injuries to his head and neck.
