A drunk man attacked and injured police officers in Sarajevo, was arrested

A man was arrested in Sarajevo after attacking police officers during an intervention. The suspect, who was intoxicated, caused minor injuries to the officers, which were confirmed by doctors at the Central Clinical Hospital in Sarajevo. The incident occurred on June 17, 2026, at 2:40 AM in Pijačna Street, Ilidža municipality. The man, born in 1999 and residing in Eastern Ilidža, was detained by the Ilidža Police Department due to suspicion of committing the crime of 'Attack on a Public Official Performing Security Duties.' The case has been forwarded to the Canton of Sarajevo's Prosecution.

Policijski službenici Policijske uprave Ilidža jučer su uhapsili muškarca u ulici Pijačna.

Kako je rečeno iz MUP-a Kantona Sarajevo, 17.06.2026. godine u 02:40 sati u ulici Pijačna, općina Ilidža, policijski službenici PU Ilidža uhapsili su M.L., rođen 1999. godine, nastanjen na području Istočne Ilidže, zbog postojanja osnova sumnje da je počinio krivično djelo Napad na službenu osobu u vršenju poslova sigurnosti.

- Osumnjičeni je prilikom policijske intervencije, u alkoholiziranom stanju, fizički napao policijske službenike nanijevši im lakše tjelesne povrede konstatovane od strane ljekara u KCUS-u.

Obaviješten je dežurni tužilac Kantonalnog tužilaštva Kantona Sarajevo, a 27-godišnjak je predat u Prostorije za zadržavanje osoba lišenih slobode MUP-a Kantona Sarajevo.
