The construction of the airport in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina, continues to face multiple challenges despite being considered a key infrastructure project. Ministar saobraćaja Kantona Sarajevo Adnan Šteta obišao je danas Međunarodni aerodrom Sarajevo, gdje je s vršiocem dužnosti direktora Dinom Selimovićem razgovarao o projektima unapređenja cestovne infrastrukture i javnog prijevoza prema aerodromu.

Šteta je izjavio da je nakon višegodišnjeg čekanja počela izgradnja 12. transverzale, koja će povezati Stup i Međunarodni aerodrom Sarajevo.

- Već se izvodi dio radova, a dodatne aktivnosti planirane su i tokom naredne godine. Očekujemo da ćemo do 2028. godine imati saobraćajnicu sa četiri trake od Stupa do Aerodroma, novi kružni tok i novi ulaz na Aerodrom, što će značajno unaprijediti funkcionalnost i pristup putnicima, kazao je Šteta.

Najavio je i unapređenje javnog prijevoza, navodeći da će jedna trolejbuska linija u naredna tri do četiri mjeseca biti produžena do Aerodroma.

- Zahvaljujući novim trolejbusima koji mogu saobraćati na baterije, postoje uslovi da linija umjesto do Dobrinje bude produžena do Međunarodnog aerodroma Sarajevo, rekao je.

Govoreći o daljnjim planovima, Šteta je istakao da Vlada Kantona Sarajevo i Ministarstvo saobraćaja imaju dobru saradnju s Aerodromom Sarajevo te da se priprema više infrastrukturnih projekata.

Podsjetio je da je predstavljen projekat izgradnje tramvajske pruge od Nedžarića preko Dobrinje do Aerodroma, za koji je već započeta izrada idejnog rješenja.

- Očekujemo da ćemo sredinom naredne godine biti spremni za raspisivanje tendera, naveo je Šteta.

Dodao je da će se u narednom periodu raditi i na poboljšanju uslova za sve vidove prijevoza koji opslužuju Aerodrom, uključujući autobuski i taksi prijevoz.

- Cilj je da kroz razvoj cestovne infrastrukture, autobuskih, trolejbuskih i budućih tramvajskih linija dodatno unaprijedimo sigurnost, funkcionalnost i dostupnost Međunarodnog aerodroma Sarajevo, kazao je Šteta.

Vršilac dužnosti direktora Međunarodnog aerodroma Sarajevo Dino Selimović pozdravio je najavljene projekte, ističući njihov značaj za putnike i daljnji razvoj Aerodroma.

- Jako smo sretni i zadovoljni vijestima o planovima za bolju saobraćajnu povezanost Aerodroma s ostalim dijelovima Kantona Sarajevo. Time će biti znatno olakšan dolazak putnika na Aerodrom Sarajevo, kao i njihov daljnji transport prema drugim dijelovima Kantona, rekao je Selimović.

Naglasio je da Aerodrom Sarajevo, kao najveći međunarodni aerodrom u Bosni i Hercegovini, bilježi rekordne rezultate i kontinuiran rast broja putnika.

- Takvi rezultati pozitivno utiču na privredu, turizam i investicije, ali istovremeno otvaraju nove potrebe kada je riječ o saobraćaju, parkingu i ukupnoj povezanosti aerodroma, kazao je Selimović.
