California: A large shark circled a young surfer (video)

A surfer in California was alerted by a drone operator about a large shark circling nearby, prompting the surfer to quickly swim back to shore. The incident occurred at Seascape Beach on June 10. Photographer Nick Bertokini shared video footage of the event on social media. The surfer mentioned he has been surfing in the area for years and noted that shark sightings have become more frequent in recent times. Bertokini stated he often sees sharks while photographing the coastline and has observed several encounters between sharks and professional surfers, though most sharks appear to be merely 

Σέρφερ στην Καλιφόρνια διέκοψε εσπευσμένα την προπόνηση του, αφού ένας χειριστής drone παρατήρησε έναν μεγάλο καρχαρία να κάνει κύκλους γύρω του. Το περιστατικό συνέβη κοντά στην παραλία Seascape Beach στις 10 Ιουνίου, όταν ο φωτογράφος Νικ Μπερτοκίνι εντόπισε το ζώο να κολυμπά επίμονα γύρω από έναν σέρφερ.

Σε βίντεο που ανήρτησε στα social media ο Μπερτοκίνι, ο καρχαρίας φαίνεται να κινείται κοντά στον σέρφερ , ο οποίος κάθεται στη σανίδα του. Μόλις ο νεαρός ειδοποιήθηκε για την παρουσία του καρχαρία, άρχισε να κολυμπάει γρήγορα προς την ακτή.

Αργότερα, ο Μπερτοκίνι μίλησε με τον σέρφερ, ο οποίος του είπε ότι κάνει σέρφινγκ στην περιοχή εδώ και χρόνια και ότι έχει παρατηρήσει πως η παρουσία καρχαριών κοντά στη Seascape Beach γίνεται όλο και πιο συχνή.

Ο Μπερτοκίνι δήωλσε ότι βλέπει συχνά καρχαρίες όταν κινηματογραφεί την ακτογραμμή και έχει παρατηρήσει πολλές «συναντήσεις» ανάμεσα σε αυτούς τους θηρευτές με τους επαγγελματίες σέρφερ.
