Cases broke out after collision

A physical altercation occurred between two drivers on the fourth hour of the day following a traffic incident on Reykjanesbraut, near Lindahverfi in Kopavogur. Slagsmál brutust út milli tveggja ökumanna á fjórða tímanum í dag eftir umferðaróhapp. Óhappið varð á aðrein að Reykjanesbraut, frá Lindahverfinu í Kópavogi.

Annar ökumaðurinn var í kjölfarið handtekinn af lögreglu vegna gruns um akstur undir áhrifum fíkniefna. Maðurinn var látinn laus að blóðsýnatöku lokinni.

Lögreglustöð eitt, sem sinnir verkefnum miðsvæðis í Reykjavík og á Seltjarnarnesi, greinir frá því að eldur hafi komið upp við bensínstöð í sínu umdæmi. Slökkvilið slökkti eldinn snarlega, sem hafði komið upp í dælubúnaði, og reyndist lítið tjón af eldinum.

Önnur útköll lögreglu voru vegna minni háttar atvika, svo sem ölvunar ökumanns rafhlaupahjóls og þjófnaðar í verslun að andvirði fjörutíu þúsund króna.

Í dagbók lögreglu segir að á heildina litið hafi fögnuður þjóðhátíðardags Íslendinga gengið vel.
