Sibling youths, accomplices arrested after Thessaloniki man forced to transfer €20,000

A 25-year-old man in Thessaloniki was allegedly forced to transfer €20,000 via a banking app after being kidnapped, tied up, and threatened with a gun and a saw by two brothers, aged 20 and 16, and several accomplices. The victim stated the 20-year-old suspect was his sister's boyfriend and described the encounter as beginning under the guise of a friendly outing. After the transfer, the suspects reportedly warned him not to involve authorities, threatening his life if he did so. The two brothers were arrested and face charges including joint robbery, attempted extortion, and weapons lawviolat
