Στη σύλληψη δύο 55χρονων, οι οποίοι χτύπησαν έναν άνδρα και έκρυβαν παράνομα όπλα σε σπίτι και επαγγελματικό χώρο, προχώρησαν οι αστυνομικοί στο Κορωπί .
Σύμφωνα με την ΕΛ.ΑΣ., το πρωί της 17ης Ιουνίου στην περιοχή του Κορωπίου, οι κατηγορούμενοι φέρονται αρχικά να επιτέθηκαν φραστικά και να απείλησαν δύο εργαζόμενους συνεργείου που εκτελούσε εργασίες στην περιοχή. Κατά την ίδια καταγγελία, ένας από τους δύο άνδρες χτύπησε έναν από τους εργαζόμενους με τη λαβή πιστολιού που είχε στην κατοχή του τραυματίζοντας τον.
Μετά την ενημέρωση των αστυνομικών, συγκροτήθηκε ειδική ομάδα έρευνας για τη διερεύνηση της υπόθεσης. Έπειτα από αξιοποίηση πληροφοριών και συλλογή στοιχείων, οι αστυνομικοί ταυτοποίησαν τους δύο 55χρονους ως δράστες και προχώρησαν στη σύλληψή τους το απόγευμα της ίδιας ημέρας στο Κορωπί.
Ακολούθησαν έρευνες στην κατοικία τους, καθώς και σε κατάστημα που διατηρούν στην περιοχή της Παιανίας, όπου εντοπίστηκε σημαντικός οπλισμός. Ειδικότερα, κατασχέθηκαν ένα οπλοπολυβόλο, ένα πυροβόλο πιστόλι, δύο αεροβόλα όπλα και 200 μεταλλικά φυσίγγια.
Οι δύο συλληφθέντες, που έχουν συγγενική σχέση μεταξύ τους, κατηγορούνται κατά για παραβάσεις της νομοθεσίας περί όπλων, απειλή και επικίνδυνη σωματική βλάβη. Οι δύο συλληφθέντες οδηγήθηκαν ενώπιον του αρμόδιου Εισαγγελέα, ενώ η προανάκριση για την υπόθεση συνεχίζεται.
