La tensión política alrededor del jefe de Gabinete, Manuel Adorni , sumó un nuevo capítulo luego de que el oficialismo confirmara su presentación ante el Senado para el próximo 2 de julio, según consignó Clarín .
La decisión fue impulsada por la presidenta del bloque de La Libertad Avanza , Patricia Bullrich, en medio de los cuestionamientos de la oposición y de los pedidos de renuncia que comenzaron a multiplicarse tras la controversia generada por la declaración jurada del funcionario.

Con esta decisión, el oficialismo busca descomprimir la presión política en el Senado y frenar la iniciativa del peronismo, que intenta reunir apoyos para convocar a una sesión el miércoles con el fin de interpelar al jefe de Gabinete. En ese mismo debate, además, algunos sectores de la oposición evalúan impulsar una moción de censura que podría derivar en su salida del cargo.
La fecha fue acordada entre el Gobierno y la conducción del bloque oficialista en la Cámara alta, con el objetivo de cumplir con la obligación constitucional que establece que el jefe de Gabinete debe concurrir periódicamente al Congreso para brindar un informe de gestión , alternando entre ambas cámaras.
La decisión de adelantar la visita del jefe de Gabinete al Senado busca desactivar la ofensiva opositora y, al mismo tiempo, contener las tensiones con los bloques aliados, que también expresaron reparos por la situación del funcionario.

Bullrich participó esta semana de una reunión de la mesa política del oficialismo encabezada por Adorni y por la secretaria general de la Presidencia, Karina Milei . El encuentro se realizó después de que el jefe de Gabinete presentara su declaración jurada y reconociera que había omitido informar ahorros superiores a los 500 mil dólares .
Según trascendieron, fue en ese ámbito donde se terminó de acordar la presentación ante el Senado, una instancia que el oficialismo considera clave para que el funcionario brinde explicaciones y reduzca la presión parlamentaria .
El reclamo de los aliados
La polémica también repercutió entre los socios legislativos del Gobierno. Tanto sectores del PRO como de la Unión Cívica Radical reclamaron públicamente la renuncia de Adorni o, al menos, una explicación detallada sobre su situación patrimonial.
Los senadores Martín Goerling , del PRO , y Eduardo “Peteco” Vischi , de la UCR , fueron algunos de los dirigentes que se pronunciaron en ese sentido. Ambos advirtieron que la continuidad de la controversia podría afectar el funcionamiento del Congreso y complicar la agenda legislativa del oficialismo.
Además, el PRO solicitó a la vicepresidenta Victoria Villarruel la convocatoria a una reunión de Labor Parlamentaria para analizar la ausencia del jefe de Gabinete en la Cámara alta durante los últimos meses.

En ese planteo, el macrismo recordó que está próximo a cumplirse un año desde la última visita de un jefe de Gabinete al Senado , cuando el cargo todavía era ocupado por Guillermo Francos .
La presentación también fue interpretada como una forma de presión institucional hacia el Gobierno para que Adorni cumpla con las obligaciones previstas por la Constitución y dé explicaciones ante los legisladores.
Qué es una moción de censura
La herramienta que analiza impulsar parte de la oposición está contemplada en la Constitución Nacional desde la reforma de 1994 .
Se trata de un mecanismo mediante el cual cualquiera de las cámaras puede interpelar al jefe de Gabinete y, posteriormente, aprobar una moción de censura. Si ambas cámaras coinciden en esa decisión, el funcionario debe abandonar el cargo .
Para aprobarla no alcanza con una mayoría simple de los legisladores presentes en el recinto, sino que es necesario reunir una mayoría especial calculada sobre el total de integrantes de la Cámara. Es decir, los votos favorables deben alcanzar un piso mínimo establecido sobre la totalidad de las bancas y no solo sobre quienes participen de la sesión.

Sin embargo, nunca fue utilizada desde su incorporación al texto constitucional , por lo que un eventual avance en ese sentido marcaría un antecedente inédito en la política argentina .
