Skupina petih Romov iz novomeškega Žabjaka je novembra lani, medtem ko je bil podjetnik iz Dragomerja na poslovni večerji, vstopila v njegovo hišo, iz zidu izruvala 235-kilogramski sef z dragocenostmi in se odpeljala. Policija je štiri od njih izsledila, zdaj pa so jim začeli soditi.
Družina iz Dragomerja ima družinsko podjetje. Direktor je imel 26. novembra 2025 poslovni sestanek s češkim partnerjem, po katerem se je z njim in ženo odpravil na večerjo v gostišče Kopač v Brezovici pri Ljubljani. Ob 20. uri ga je poklical sosed, da sliši ropot iz njihove hiše. Odhitel je domov. Vlomilcev ni ujel, jih pa je pozneje izsledila policija.
Šlo je za štiri Rome iz novomeškega Žabjaka – 24-letnega Dejana Novaka, 23-letnega Petra Bregarja , 30-letnega Brendija Hudorovca in 26-letnega Matijo Golobiča . Vsi so brezposelni, očetje mladoletnih otrok in stari znanci policije. V rop je bila vpletena še peta oseba, ki je vozila, a je policija do zdaj še ni odkrila.
Peterica je med ropom, med katerim je dobro vedela, kaj išče, premetala hišo, iz shrambe pod stopnicami pa iz zidu izruvala in odpeljala 235-kilogramski kovinski sef, v katerem je bilo poleg drugih dragocenosti več deset kilogramov srebra, več kosov zlata ter 150.000 evrov. Vse skupaj naj bi bilo vredno okoli milijon evrov.
Policija je sef, odprt dva dni pozneje, našla pod kupom vej blizu avtocestnega izvoza Višnja Gora. Iz njega so izginile vse stvari, so pa vlomilci pozabili dve zlati 100-gramski palici. DNK-analiza bioloških sledi, ki so jih pustili vsepovsod, je policijo pripeljala do romskega naselja Brezje, kjer so vse štiri kmalu aretirali, tatinskega plena pa niso našli.
Roparjem zdaj sodijo na ljubljanskem okrožnem sodišču. Krivde namreč niso priznali.
