The network of emergency services will be reviewed and more centralised emergency services should be provided for.

The Portuguese government has established a working group to review the national emergency and urgency network, with a mandate to propose updates by the end of November this year. The proposal is expected to include centralized emergency services and existing 'Vias Verdes' (green corridors).
