GSP syndicates: Fifth time postponed tender for 60 trolleybuses for Belgrade

The fifth postponement of the tender for purchasing 60 new trolleybuses for Belgrade's public transport has been announced by labor unions. The original bid opening was scheduled for the upcoming Monday but has been extended until July 22. Unions warn this delay poses a serious threat to the entire trolleybus system. Meanwhile, the City of Belgrade is conducting a competition for a public-private partnership with 'Strela,' which would grant the private carrier exclusive rights to all new EKO lines with electric buses over the next 20 years. Despite positive signals from the Ministry of Finance
