Med en knapp kilometer igjen av dag to av sykkelrittet Sveits rundt, veltet den slovenske sykkelstjernen stygt.

Med et større felt bak seg, mistet 29-åringen tilsynelatende kontrollen og smalt i bakken, viser videobilder på sosiale medier. Žigart ble liggende på bakken, mens syklistene bak måtte styre unna. Flere av dem gikk også i bakken.

AG Insurance-Soudal, som er laget til 29-åringen, bekrefter til den nederlandske avisa Wielerflits at hun er fraktet til sykehus, men tilstanden er så langt ukjent.

– Urška gjennomgår nå medisinske undersøkelser, og laget vil komme med ytterligere oppdateringer om tilstanden hennes så snart som mulig, skriver de på X .

Den fire ganger Tour de France-vinneren deltar i herreutgaven av det samme sykkelrittet. Han sykler i skrivende stund andre etappe, ifølge rittets egen livetjeneste .
