Vingegaard's duel with Pogacher has become significantly more difficult.

Danish cyclist Jonas Vingegaard, who is challenging Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar at the Tour de France, will not have the support of one of his key teammates this year. Belgian cyclist Wout van Aert has withdrawn from the race due to a shoulder injury. Van Aert was expected to play a crucial role in helping Vingegaard during the French Grand Tour. Meanwhile, Pogačar will once again compete in the event, aiming for his fifth victory, having previously won in 2020, 2021, 2024, and 2025. Van Aert has been an important figure for the Dutch team in recent years, contributing significantly to Vิง

The article discusses the impact of injuries on the cycling teams competing in the Tour de France, particularly focusing on Wout van Aert's injury and its effect on his team, Visma Lease a Bike. I'd bet on the Winger earlier than the Rich Man.

Australian cyclist Michael Storer has stated that he would bet on Jonas Vingegaard rather than Tadej Pogačar for this year's Tour de France. Storer believes Vingegaard, who won the Giro d'Italia, will be stronger than Pogačar, who will make his first appearance at the Tour since May. Pogačar recently won the Route du Sud and has been dominant in classics like Strade Bianche and Milan–San Remo. Vingegaard, meanwhile, has chosen a different route to prepare for the Tour, with his next race being in Barcelona.

When asked about the Rich Man, he quickly denied everything.

Isaac del Toro, member of Tadej Pogačar's team UAE Team Emirates, won the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes race, also known as the Dauphiné, by performing strongly on mountain stages. Del Toro emphasized he only wanted to win the race and did not consider competing against Pogačar in the Tour de France.

New hit for Tadeau Poignier before the race in France

Tadej Pogačar's preparations for the Tour de France are being affected by injuries and health issues within his team, UAE Emirates. Key support riders like Marc Soler and Joao Almeida are either injured or not yet fully recovered, which impacts Pogačar's chances. Soler, who has been a crucial ally for Pogačar in mountain stages, is unlikely to be ready for the Tour due to a hip injury. Almeida, who missed the Giro due to illness, stated he is only training for three to four weeks and is unsure if he'll be fit enough for the Tour.
