MANILA, Philippines — A total of 3,702 drug personalities and P1.95 billion worth of illegal drugs were arrested and seized in the month of May 2026, said the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Wednesday.
According to the PDEA in a statement, the figures reflect the 2,941 operations conducted from May 1 to 31 where 18 illegal drug facilities were also dismantled by authorities.

“The inclusion of elected officials, government personnel, and a member of the uniformed service underscores a clear message: position and authority offer no protection from accountability,” PDEA director general Isagani Nerez said.
