V Teheranu so v prvem v odzivu na izjave Trumpa zatrdili, da ni še nič dogovorjeno. Iranski mediji pa so poročali o vsebini osnutka sporazuma, ki da med drugim ne predvideva, da bi Iran ZDA prepustil nadzor nad Hormuško ožino.
