Lula: Trump should not meddle in Brazilian elections

Ο βραζιλιάνος πρόεδρος Λουίς Ινάσιο Λούλα ντα Σίλβα δήλωσε σήμερα ότι ο Αμερικανός ομόλογός του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ «δεν πρέπει να αναμειχθεί στις εκλογές της Βραζιλίας», οι οποίες έχουν προγραμματιστεί για τον Οκτώβριο.

Σε συνέντευξη Τύπου που παραχώρησε μετά τη σύνοδο κορυφής της G7, o Λούλα είπε πως ο Τραμπ δικαιούται να έχει «ιδεολογικές προτιμήσεις» αλλά «οι βραζιλιάνικες εκλογές είναι ζήτημα της Βραζιλίας».

Ο Λουίς Ινάσιο Λούλα ντα Σίλβα , ο οποίος θα διεκδικήσει μια τέταρτη προεδρική θητεία, θα έχει ως βασικό αντίπαλο τον γερουσιαστή Φλάβιο Μπολσονάρου, γιο του ακροδεξιού πρώην προέδρου της Βραζιλίας, Ζαΐχ Μπολσονάρου.
