A four-car chase in Ylöjärvi, traffic jams in the direction of Tampere

A four-car rear-end collision occurred at the intersection of Kantatie 65 (Vaasantieli) in Ylöjärvi during the midsummer traffic rush on Friday evening. The accident involved eight people, none of whom sustained serious injuries. Two lanes of traffic have been closed, causing congestion towards Tampere. Emergency services confirmed the incident and are conducting on-site checks.

Juhannuksen menoliikenteessä tapahtui neljän auton peräänajo perjantaina iltapäivällä Ylöjärvellä.

Ylöjärven keskustan risteyksessä kantatiellä 65 eli Vaasantiellä tapahtuneesta onnettomuudesta on liikennehaittaa ainakin kello kahteen asti, Pirkanmaan pelastuslaitokselta kerrotaan.

Pirkanmaan pelastuslaitos sai hälytyksen liikenneonnettomuudesta hieman ennen kello yhtä. Päivystävä palomestari Aku Pietilä kertoo, että neljän auton kolarissa on ollut osallisina kahdeksan henkilöä.

– Heillä ei ole vakavia vammoja. Ensihoito tarkastaa heidät paikan päällä.

Peräänajon takia kaksi ajokaistaa on suljettu liikenteeltä ja liikenne ruuhkautuu Tampereelle päin.
