Sono stati fermati i due conducenti delle auto che si sono scontrate a Mykonos : nell’incidente ha perso la vita la 37enne aretina Sara Ceccantini , che si trovava in vacanza sull’isola per festeggiare il suo addio al nubilato insieme alle amiche. La notizia è stata confermata dalle autorità greche. I due conducenti sono un cittadino greco e uno italiano: quest’ultimo, secondo quanto trapela, era alla guida della Peugeot sulla quale viaggiava la 37enne insieme a tre amiche.

La polizia greca, intanto, sta proseguendo gli accertamenti per ricostruire l’esatta dinamica dell’incidente, avvenuto sull’isola delle Cicladi nella notte tra domenica e lunedì. Gli investigatori stanno raccogliendo testimonianze e analizzando gli elementi disponibili per chiarire responsabilità e modalità dello scontro. Secondo quanto spiegato dal portavoce della polizia greca Konstantia Dimoglidou all’emittente statale Ert dagli esami effettuati sui due conducenti n on sono emerse tracce di consumo di alcol .

Nelle ore successive all’incidente sono emerse due diverse versioni della dinamica dello scontro. Secondo un’ipotesi, riportata dai media locali, l’incidente sarebbe avvenuto intorno alla mezzanotte sulla strada provinciale che collega Chora ad Ano Mera, nella zona di Argyrena . L’auto con Sara Ceccantini avrebbe effettuato un’inversione a U in un tratto caratterizzato da doppia linea continua e quindi sarebbe stata colpita da un’auto proveniente dalla direzione opposta. Una seconda ricostruzione, riferita da un testimone intervistato dall’emittente Live News , descrive invece una dinamica alternativa per cui l’auto con la comitiva italiana sarebbe stata urtata da una vettura il cui conducente aveva perso il controllo della guida. A seguito di questo scontro, la vettura con la 37enne sarebbe stata spinta in un’area privata, andando a urtare un pick-up parcheggiato. Saranno gli accertamenti della polizia a chiarire la dinamica. Sara Ceccantini lascia il compagno Luca e la figlia di 3 anni e mezzo.
