Ein elfjähriger Schüler ist nach einem medizinischen Notfall während einer Klassenfahrt in Niedersachsen gestorben. Trotz der Reanimationsmaßnahmen durch Lehrer und Rettungskräfte konnte nur noch der Tod des Jungen aus der Region Hannover festgestellt werden, wie die Polizei mitteilte. Nach derzeitigem Ermittlungsstand liegen keine Hinweise auf ein Fremdverschulden zu dem Vorfall im Landkreis Hameln-Pyrmont vor.

Am Donnerstagnachmittag klagte der Schüler in dem Schullandheim in Aerzen über Atemnot, verlor das Bewusstsein und musste reanimiert werden. Die Lehrkräfte leiteten umgehend Rettungsmaßnahmen ein und wurden telefonisch durch die Rettungsleitstelle angeleitet. Ein Hubschrauber wurde alarmiert. Alle Rettungsversuche blieben aber ohne Erfolg.

Obduktion geplant

Rund 50 Schulkinder aus vierten Klassen einer Grundschule aus der Region Hannover seien während des Einsatzes von den Lehrkräften betreut und von den Rettungsmaßnahmen ferngehalten worden. Notfallseelsorger kümmerten sich vor Ort um die Kinder und Lehrkräfte.

Die Polizei ermittelt zur Klärung der Todesursache. Dafür gehe er unter anderem davon aus, dass es eine Obduktion geben werde, sagte ein Polizeisprecher.
