Në Klinikën e Gjinekologjisë dhe Obstetrikës në Qendrën Klinike Universitare të Kosovës (QKUK) janë realizuar 4 423 lindje gjatë periudhës janar - 15 qershor 2026. Kjo qendër vazhdon të mbetet një nga institucionet kyçe të kujdesit shëndetësor për nënat dhe të porsalindurit në vend.
Sipas njoftimit, 3 090 lindje janë kryer në mënyrë spontane, ndërsa 1 333 të tjera me prerje cezariane.
Gjatë kësaj periudhe, ekipet mjekësore kanë ofruar trajtim të specializuar edhe për foshnjat e lindura para kohe. Gjithsej 318 foshnja premature, pas kujdesit intensiv dhe trajtimit në repartet përkatëse, janë liruar në gjendje të mirë shëndetësore.
Nga QKUK-ja vlerësohet se këto rezultate janë dëshmi e angazhimit të vazhdueshëm të stafit profesional, i përbërë nga mjekë specialistë, infermierë dhe mamitë, të cilët ofrojnë kujdes të specializuar për nënat dhe foshnjat.
