Il grande maestro di retorica torna sui banchi del Classico dopo 13 anni di assenza. Ai ragazzi è stato proposto un brano dall’Institutio Oratoria incentrato sulle note e l'armonia come pilastri educativi
Per i maturandi del Liceo Classico i plichi ministeriali hanno riservato il ritorno di un grande classico della letteratura latina, Quintiliano . Agli studenti è stato proposto un brano tratto dall’ Institutio Oratoria (tradotto: La formazione dell’oratore), la sua opera più celebre, considerata un vero e proprio manuale di pedagogia e retorica.
Maturità 2026, ecco tutte le tracce della seconda prova
Il passo che i ragazzi si trovano a tradurre e analizzare affronta il ruolo della musica come pilastro fondamentale per l’educazione . Il testo cita in particolare il suo ruolo nel mondo antico . Per filosofi come Platone e Pitagora è legata all’armonia dell’universo e alla formazione dell’uomo, mentre nella vita pratica aiuta i soldati, organizza gli eserciti e allevia la fatica nel lavoro.
È la terza volta che esce Quintiliano
È la terza volta che Quintiliano compare alla seconda prova del liceo Classico. L’ultima volta è stato nel 2013. Composta presumibilmente tra il 90 e il 96 dopo Cristo, l’ Institutio Oratoria venne dedicata dall’autore a Marco Vitorio Marcello , influente funzionario alla corte dell’imperatore Domiziano, con l’obiettivo di guidare l’educazione del giovanissimo figlio Geta . L’opera, suddivisa in 12 libri, racchiude e compendia l’esperienza sul campo di Quintiliano, frutto di oltre vent’anni di insegnamento pubblico e privato (svolto all’incircirca tra il 70 e il 90 d.C.).
