Zaradi suma kršitev pravic delavcev in ponarejanja listin je menda policija po dveh predkazenskih postopkih proti poslancu vložila tudi dve kazenski ovadbi.
»Stranka mu kljub temu ščiti hrbet. Ampak človek, ki se tako obnaša do lastnih delavcev, ki državi dolguje davke in prispevke ter ga spremljajo sumi kršitev zakonodaje, nima nobene legitimnosti govoriti kot predstavnik ljudstva in odločati o pravicah drugih. Zato bomo v Levici zahtevali sklic seje odbora za gospodarstvo, delo in šport, na kateri želimo odpreti vprašanje politične odgovornosti in primernosti opravljanja poslanske funkcije v primeru poslanca Borisa Mijića,« pravi Mesec.
Poslanski mandat ne sme biti zaščita pred odgovornostjo. »Poslanec Resnice Boris Mijić je kot bivši lastnik podjetja dolžen državi 32.000 evrov neplačanih davkov in prispevkov, svojim delavcem pa več deset tisoč evrov neplačanih plač. Ob tem ko predsednik njegove stranke, Zoran Stevanović , zatrjuje, da bo vse te dolgove poplačal iz svojega žepa, se sprašujem, od kod njemu ta denar,« se je Mesec vprašal ob napovedi sklica seje.
Dodal je, da obstaja utemeljen sum, da je Mijić svoje delavce odjavljal iz socialnih zavarovanj s ponarejanjem njihovih podpisov. »Ampak pozor, stranka Resnica od tega poslanca ne zahteva odstopa. Koalicija, katere del je stranka Resnica in jo vodi Janez Janša , od tega človeka ne zahteva odstopa. Jernej Vrtovec in Anže Logar , ki sta svojo predvolilno kampanjo zgradila na boju proti korupciji, od tega poslanca ne zahtevata odstopa,« opozarja Mesec.
