Låvebro collapsed in Elverum - three schoolchildren to hospital

Three students were sent to the hospital or emergency room after a wooden bridge collapsed at Glomdalsmuseum in Elverum municipality in Innlandet on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred while a school class was taking a group photo on the bridge. The police are investigating the cause of the collapse, which is currently unknown. Tre elever i en skoleklasse ble sendt til sykehus eller legevakt etter at en låvebru kollapset ved Glomdalsmuseet i Elverum kommune i Innlandet fredag ettermiddag.

– Alle var ved bevissthet og oppegående. Politiet vil etterforske forholdet videre, opplyser operasjonsleder Bård Einar Hoft i Innlandet politidistrikt i politiloggen.

Årsaken til ulykken er ukjent.

Fallhøyden var rundt 2 til 2,5 meter, opplyser han.

Flere elever sto på eller i nærheten av ulykken, opplyser operasjonslederen til NTB. Han opplyser at deler av klassen sto på en del av stein, men det var delen av låvebrua i tre som kollapset.

– Det var totalt fra 25 til 30 elever på eller i nærheten av låvebrua. Det er uvisst hvor mange som sto på delen som kollapset, sier han til NTB.

Kollapsen skjedde mens skoleklassen tok et fellesbilde på låvebrua.

Elevene som er sendt til sykehus, er sendt til Elverum sykehus.

Politiet fikk melding om ulykken klokken 13.27.
