The anticyclone dominates Italy steadily, peaking at 39°C until the end of the month

A high-pressure system known as Anticyclone Cerberus is dominating Italy, leading to extreme heat with temperatures expected to reach up to 39°C by the end of the month. Meteorologist Lorenzo Tedici notes that both daytime highs and nighttime lows will be significantly above average, with minimum temperatures not dropping below 25°C at night. The intense heat is expected to cause discomfort due to high humidity and temperatures, particularly in the Po Valley and coastal areas. Local thunderstorms are also anticipated due to accumulated heat.

L'anticiclone domina stabilmente sull'Italia, tanto che sono previste punte di 39°C fino a fine mese. Le temperature risulteranno superiori alla norma di ben 8-9°C, sia nei valori massimi diurni che in quelli minimi notturni. E' quanto annuncia Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologo responsabile media de iLMeteo.it. "Ci attendono - afferma - giornate canicolari con termometri pronti a toccare punte di 39°C, persino sulle regioni del Nord Italia". Non solo: di notte la colonnina di mercurio non riuscirà a scendere al di sotto dei 25°C. Queste condizioni estreme si faranno sentire soprattutto in Pianura Padana e lungo le coste. Attesi anche temporali locali causati dall'accumulo di calore.

Nel dettaglio:

- Venerdì 19. Al Nord: temporali su Alpi e Prealpi, locale discesa sulla Pianura Padana centrale. Al Centro: soleggiato, caldo in aumento. Al Sud: soleggiato e caldo.

- Sabato 20. Al Nord: sole e caldo, ma con qualche temporale pomeridiano. Al Centro: soleggiato, caldo in ulteriore aumento.     Al Sud: sole e caldo diffuso.

- Domenica 21. Al Nord: temporali di calore su Alpi, Prealpi e pianure vicine, caldo intenso e afa. Al Centro: sole e afa diffusi. Al Sud: sole, caldo in ulteriore aumento.

- Tendenza: alta pressione subtropicale Cerberus ad oltranza con massime fino a 39-40°C e notti super tropicali; forte disagio fisiologico per il caldo e l'umidità.
