14-vuotiaan tytön epäillään puukottaneen kolmea ihmistä koulussa Manchesterissä Britanniassa tiistaina. Puukotuksessa haavoittui kaksi oppilasta ja yksi koulun henkilökuntaan kuuluva.

Manchesterin poliisin mukaan epäilty puukottaja on otettu kiinni kuulusteluja varten. Veriteossa haavoittuivat 14-vuotias koulutyttö, samanikäinen koulupoika ja 27-vuotias mies, joka kuuluu koulun henkilökuntaan.

– Kaikki kuljetettiin sairaalaan, mutta heidän vammojensa ei onneksi arvioida olevan vakavia. Tällä hetkellä kaikkien tila on vakaa, poliisin lausunnossa sanottiin.

Poliisi jatkoi partioimista koulun alueella vielä senkin jälkeen, kun tapahtumat olivat ohi.

Britannian viranomaiset ovat yrittäneet vähentää nuorten tekemiä puukotuksia muun muassa vaatimalla teräaseiden kaupan voimakasta rajoittamista myös verkossa.
