Ushtruesja e Detyrës së Presidentes së Republikës së Kosovës, Albulena Haxhiu, ka vizituar sot Muzeun “Eksodi ‘99”, të themeluar nga “Reporting House”, në Stacionin e Trenave në Prishtinë, një hapësirë e dedikuar kujtesës së dëbimit masiv të shqiptarëve të Kosovës gjatë pranverës së vitit 1999.
Gjatë vizitës, U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu vlerësoi rëndësinë e kësaj ekspozite, e cila është vendosur brenda një vagoni treni dhe, sipas saj, ofron një përjetim domethënës për ruajtjen e kujtesës kolektive dhe dokumentimin e një kapitulli të rëndësishëm të historisë së vendit.
“E vendosur brenda një vagoni treni, kjo ekspozitë ofron një përjetim domethënës që kontribuon në ruajtjen e kujtesës kolektive dhe dokumentimin e një kapitulli të rëndësishëm të historisë sonë. Iniciativa të tilla kanë vlerë të veçantë në edukimin e brezave të rinj dhe në nderimin e përvojave të atyre që përjetuan ngjarjet e vitit 1999”, ka thënë Haxhiu.
Ajo theksoi se përmes 48 rrëfimeve autentike të të mbijetuarve, të organizuara në katër tema kryesore, ekspozita paraqet dëshmi të fuqishme mbi përjetimet, sfidat dhe qëndresën e qytetarëve gjatë dhe pas luftës në Kosovë.
