Comentarios El Ejército de Israel ha publicado este jueves un mapa con las posiciones de sus tropas en el marco de su invasión del sur de Líbano, desatada a principios de marzo en el marco del conflicto en Oriente Próximo, y ha recalcado que no las retirará de las zonas ocupadas, a pesar del memorando de entendimiento firmado entre Estados Unidos e Israel.

“Debido a los requisitos operativos, las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel están desplegadas en la zona de seguridad, aproximadamente diez kilómetros dentro de territorio libanés”, ha informado en su comunicado, antes de afirmar que estas tropas “seguirán eliminando amenazas y reforzando la defensa de los residentes en el norte de Israel”.

El mapa actualizado muestra que las tropas israelíes han avanzado en las últimas semanas desde el anuncio en abril de una “línea de defensa avanzada” dentro de Líbano, llegando incluso a los alrededores de Nabatiye, entre exigencias de Beirut, el partido-milicia chií Hezbolá e Irán para que se retire del país.

Los gobiernos de Israel y Líbano están negociando un posible acuerdo que contemplaría la retirada de estas tropas.
