Opening on June 17th 26th Book Fair Prishtina 2026

The 26th edition of the 'Prishtina 2026' Book Fair will open on July 17 at noon in the Youth Palace in Pristina. The event, which runs until July 21, will feature around 100 Albanian publishers, over 2000 new book titles, and approximately 6000 recently published titles. Over 40 cultural activities, book promotions, and meetings with local and international authors will take place during the five-day event. Italian-French writer Francesco Rapazzini has been invited as a guest of honor. Attendance is free, and the event is expected to attract around 30,000 visitors.

Ceremonia e hapjes Ă«shtĂ« paraparĂ« tĂ« zhvillohet mĂ« 17 qershor nĂ« orĂ«n 12:00 dhe do tĂ« transmetohet drejtpĂ«rdrejt nĂ« RTK. Me moton “Libri hap botĂ«n”, panairi do tĂ« mbahet nĂ« Pallatin e RinisĂ« nĂ« PrishtinĂ« dhe do tĂ« zgjasĂ« deri mĂ« 21 qershor.

Sipas organizatorëve, në panair do të marrin pjesë rreth 100 botues shqiptarë, ndërsa do të prezantohen afro 2000 tituj të rinj dhe rreth 6000 tituj të botimeve të viteve të fundit.

Gjatë pesë ditëve të panairit do të organizohen mbi 40 aktivitete kulturore, promovime librash dhe takime me autorë vendas e ndërkombëtarë. I ftuar nderi i këtij edicioni do të jetë shkrimtari italo-francez Francesco Rapazzini.

Panairi pritet të vizitohet nga rreth 30 mijë qytetarë, studentë dhe nxënës, ndërsa hyrja për vizitorët do të jetë pa pagesë.
